Please Read Over
1. A deposit of $300.00 is required to hold a kitten. The deposit
is non-refundable. You may pay by Credit Card or Paypal or
money order. Use the link below to pay by Paypal if you would
like to pay with credit card or paypal. If there are no kittens
available, you may put a deposit down and be put on waiting
list. Please go to Waiting List page for further information. The
full amount of a kitten will have to be paid one week before
your kitten leaves our home.
2. If interested in breeding rights, please contact us for further
information. Also breeding rights don't just go to anyone. We
do not believe in kitten mills. So we check references and we
will plan on talking to your vet.
3. Shipping is available and is not included in the price of the
kitten. Please contact us for shipping information. You also
have the option of picking up your new kitten at our home. We
also deliver for a small fee so please feel free to contact us if
interested.
4. As a new kitten owner you are encouraged to take your new
kitten to see a licensed veterinarian within 4 days of purchase,
this is to insure that your kitty has taken the move well and is
adjusting to life in its new home. We are unable to guarantee
health of the kitten if it does not see a licensed veterinarian
within the first four days of possession. Health Guarantee will
be void if not taken in the time frame.
5. Sugars Cattery agrees to provide you with a healthy kitten.
Your kitten will come with all necessary shots and de-worm,
you will get an official certification of vet inspection.
6. The purchaser agrees to care for kitten and provide all
necessary medical treatment. I recommend that the kitten be
taken to licensed veterinarian once a year for all necessary
check ups and shots.
7. Your New Kitten is Accustomed to being fed Royal Canin
Kittens dry food. I recommend staying with this food until the
kitten is one year old, then gradually switch over to Royal
Canin adult foods. Switching foods will lead to diarrhea,
especially in kittens. If you do switch brands of food its OK, just
gradually mix new food with Royal Canin, to introduce new
food slowly.
8. By accepting a kitten from Sugars Cattery, the buyer must
agree to the terms and conditions listed above in the contract.
9. The registration forms will be sent to you as soon as you
send me the proof from a license vet., there is no hidden cost.
Just send me proof of spray or neutered. Unless there is rights
for breeding then the papers will be sent out with the kitten. I
don't just give breeding rights to just anyone. No kitten mills.

THE CONDITIONS OF THIS SALE ARE AS FOLLOWS:
The kitten/cat described above is being sold as pet quality,
unless otherwise stated
above,
for the sum of $___________________. Buyer agrees that this
kitten must be spayed
or
neutered before the age of 6 months or pay a penalty of $500.00
on the day following
the kitten’s 7 month birthday, which is
________________________. Buyer assures
and guarantees that this kitten will not be used for breeding or
stud. Buyer agrees that a
certificate of alteration from a licensed veterinarian will be sent
to Seller within one week
of date above, unless prior arrangements have been made in
writing.
Upon presentation of veterinarian’s letter stating the kitten has
been spayed or
neutered,
Seller agrees to give Buyer the registration slip so he/she can
register the kitten.
Buyer agrees that if the kitten/cat is found to be neglected or
mistreated, Seller shall
have
the unconditional right to reclaim the kitten/cat WITHOUT a
replacement or refund of
purchase price. Buyer will be responsible for any veterinary
bills directly incurred as a
result of any neglect or mistreatment. Sugars Cattery does not
offer a refund for
any reason.
Buyer agrees that under NO circumstances will the kitten/cat
EVER be sold, leased, or
given to any pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory, or
similar facility. Should
Buyer not be able to keep this animal for any reason, including
the incapacitation or
death of buyer, it is to be returned to breeder/seller for
placement without a refund of
any kind. This kitten/cat is guaranteed to be a healthy and well
cared for animal. Buyer must have
the kitten/cat checked by a licensed veterinarian within 96
hours after the date of sale.
Failure to have the animal checked by a licensed veterinarian
within 96 hours will void
any guarantee. If kitten/cat is found to be medically deficient
with an untreatable or
life threatening problem, this must be reported to the Seller
immediately. Any veterinary
bills after the Buyer takes possession of the kitten/cat are the
responsibility of the Buyer.
The cat will not be denied needed veterinary care. The buyer
has a right to return the
kitten right away and it will be replaced with another kitten/cat
of equal value. If no
replacement is available at the time of return, Seller will have
up to one year to furnish a
comparable kitten/cat.The Buyer agrees to provide proper
housing, diet, fresh water, parasite control and
general health care, including the completion of immunizations
plus yearly boosters and
prompt veterinary care for any illness or condition requiring
medication or surgery. The
cat is to be kept INDOORS. Seller has the unconditional right to
reclaim the kitten/cat without refund of purchase
price for any breech of contract. Any legal action, which may
arise under the terms of
this contract, will be brought in Marquette County Michigan.
Buyer shall be liable for
any court costs and related charges including attorney’s fees
associated with Seller
enforcing the terms of this contract.
In signing this document, Buyer acknowledges that he/she had
read, fully understands,
and agrees to all the terms and conditions of the above sale.
